NOx elimination
OFFNOx® is a powder additive that, when applied on outdoor surfaces, can eliminate contaminating nitrogen oxides (NOx) from the air by means of photocatalytic oxidation. Nitrogen oxides are hazardous pollutants that contribute to photochemical smog, acid rain and climate change. They are one of the Greenhouse gases. They cause direct harmful effects on human health, such as pulmonary affections and eyes, skin and mucus membranes irritation and vegetation damages.

FORMULATION

OFFNOx® is a patented formula which consists of a photocatalyst and some other additives, generally called enhancers, that improve the efficiency and durability of the product. It is able to constantly and continuously remove NOx from the atmosphere thanks to its self-regenerating properties which prevent the catalyst deactivation.
OFFNOx® composition varies depending on substrate but in all cases it is similar to natural minerals. It is non-toxic and non-flammable, safe and inert.
USES:

OFFNOx® has been designed as an additive for outdoor surfaces. Any type of outdoor surface may be eligible for a surface application of OFFNOx®.

HOW IT WORKS:

OFFNOx® is photocatalysed by the sun’s rays, triggering natural oxidation on the surface to which it has been applied.
